𝑰𝒏 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍, 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕.
𝑼𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒊𝒌𝒎𝒂𝒉 (𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎) 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒉𝒂𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝒘𝒂 𝒕’𝒂𝒍𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒏; 𝑰𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒎.

𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒉𝒂𝒂𝒏’𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒒 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒃𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒕.
𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒖𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒂 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚. 𝑷𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐, 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕, 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏, 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒆𝒕𝒄. 𝑳𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒘𝒍𝒂 𝒘𝒂 𝒍𝒂𝒂 𝒒𝒖𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒂 𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉. 𝑵𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉. 𝑵𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔, 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒖𝒃𝒂𝒉 (𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒕), 𝒅𝒐 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔, 𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒇𝒊𝒍 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔, 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒒𝒂𝒕… 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒆. 𝑨𝒔 𝒘𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 ‘𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒕’ 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆, 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒔𝒏𝒖𝒈𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆? 𝑨𝒔 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒔, 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒂𝒂𝒃? 𝑨𝒔 𝒘𝒆 𝒐𝒃𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 ‘𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈’ – 𝒏𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒙𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒕𝒄, 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒅𝒔? 𝑵𝑶𝑾 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒔 𝒖𝒔! 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉𝒖’𝒂𝒌𝒃𝒂𝒓. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒚𝒂 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒅, 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒚𝒍𝒆. 𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒕 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕. 𝑰𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life” [an-Nahl 16:97]

𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒖𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔 𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒐 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒖𝒏𝒚𝒂. 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉?
𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑫𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒉 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝑬𝑬𝑫𝑺 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓. 𝑰𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒂𝒂𝒃 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚; 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚. 𝑾𝒆 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒔𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒉𝒂𝒂𝒏’𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉. 𝑴𝒂𝒚 𝒘𝒆 𝒃𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑰𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒏.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best” [an-Nahl 16:125]

𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒎 (𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒂𝒂𝒃 𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆) 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔, 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑨𝑳𝒍𝒂𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒌, 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝑨𝑳𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 & 𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒃𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒏

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah” [al-An‘aam 6:116]

𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒆 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒅𝒖𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 ‘𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓 & 𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒚’:

“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error”
[al-Ahzaab 33:36]

𝑾𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒕 𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒌. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒘𝒐 𝒂𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉:
“But most people are unaware of the importance of this blessing and are neglectful of their duties towards it, namely to fill it with acts of gratitude and obedience towards Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are two blessings which many people do not make the most of and thus lose out: good health and free time.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6412.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒂𝒉:

“And We send down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe”
[al-Isra’ 17:82].

𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒆.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allah has not sent down any disease but He has also sent down a cure for it.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5678.

𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆; 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒖𝒂 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂 𝒅𝒖𝒂 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅. 𝑾𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒖𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚, 𝒅𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 ~ 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆.

Al-Bukhaari (3371) narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to seek refuge with Allah for al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and he said: “Your father (Ibraaheem) used to seek refuge with (these words) for Ismaa‘eel and Ishaaq: A‘oodhu bi kalimaat Illaahi’t-taammah min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli ‘aynin laammah (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from every devil and every vermin, and from every bad eye)”.

𝑺𝒐 𝒘𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒎 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒂𝒉 𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 …

“And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqoon (the pious)”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:133]


𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚, 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑹𝒂𝒃𝒃, 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉, 𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒂 𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒉 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒐:

“Guide us to the Straight Way” [al-Faatihah 1:6]
